Video: Investing in Human Progress

It was a pleasure meeting many of you in person at the Rask Investing Events in Melbourne and Sydney. I always love hearing your stories, and how your investing journey has been so far.

For those that didn’t attend, we’re pleased to share a video of the presentation that I gave in Sydney: Investing in The Unstoppable Engines of Human Progress.

In the presentation I talk about our investment process at Maven Funds Management, and in particular that not all growth is created equal. In fact, some growth actually destroys shareholder value. We spend a lot of time to understand what type of growth a company is creating. We seek to identify small fast-growing companies that deliver significant value for their customers, while also rewarding long-term shareholders along the way.
